Lawyers vs. Consultants

This little schema will help you understand the difference between a lawyer and a consultant:

  LAWYER CONSULTANT
Education: Educational guarantee; university and accredited law school graduate No educational guarantee
Member of a professional bar:               YES NO
Can he represent me in court? YES NO
Can he assist me during my interview? YES NO

Consultants are individuals who have received a permit to work in the field of immigration and they rarely have a university degree in law.

All the services we offer are related to immigration and administration law. Since consultants are not members of a professional bar, they cannot take legal actions and help you like we can.

When hiring a lawyer you will have the guarantee that the person representing you has the pertinent educational knowledge as well as an ethical and professional conduct guarantees coming from his provincial Canadian bar association;

Don’t bargain on your future, chose a Canadian Lawyer for your immigration.
